Singapore – Istanbul
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Istanbul.

DAY 2
Istanbul
Upon arrival, visit Basilica Cistern, also known as Yerebatan Sarnici, which was used to store and supply water to the city when the city was under siege by barbarians. Continue to visit Chora Museum, one of the most important Byzantine monuments in Istanbul. Then, cross Bosphorus on a river cruise to visit Dolmabahce Palace.

DAY 3
Istanbul – Kayseri – Cappadocia
This morning, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, visit Ihlara Valley, an impressive canyon which was formed by volcanic eruptions and the flows of the Melendiz River. Thereafter, transfer to Cappadocia for your overnight stay.

DAY 4
Cappadocia
Enjoy a full–day tour of Cappadocia which boasts a unique landscape sculpted by the wind, sun, rain and snow. Explore Goreme Open Air Museum, a compound comprising 29 rock–cut churches including some that date back to the 6th century. Then, proceed to Uchisar, an old village comprising small dwellings carved into a massive rock. Make photo stops at Valley of the Birds and the foot of Uchisar Castle. At Avanos, visit a famous local pottery and see a carpet– weaving demonstration at a carpet factory and showroom to learn more about the art of weaving Turkish carpets. Next, visit a local jewellery shop, where you can buy handcrafted natural stone creations.

DAY 5
Cappadocia – Konya – Antalya
Depart Cappadocia and enjoy a scenic drive via Konya to Antalya, the coastal city along the Mediterranean Sea. En route, make a brief stop at the 13th–century Sultanhani Caravanserai which used to be a hotel for ancient traders and travellers.

DAY 6
Antalya – Perge – Antalya
Visit Aspendos, an ancient Greco–Roman city, to visit its most well–preserved theatre of antiquity, Aspendos Theatre. Proceed to Perge, the best example of a complete Roman city located in the Pamphylian plain. You will visit Nymphaeum, a monument consecrated to the nymphs with its public bath complex, the Roman gate and Agora, an ancient marketplace. Thereafter, continue to Duden Waterfalls for a photo stop.

DAY 7
Antalya – Myra – Kekova – Fethiye
Today, continue to Myra. Stop at the town of Demre to visit St Nicholas Church and tomb, in which St Nicholas was buried. This church has gained greater popularity since 1950 because of its association with Santa Claus. View Lycian rock–cut tombs dating back to 400 BC at Necropolis. Proceed to Kekova, one of the most fascinating spots along the Turkish Mediterranean coast. Take a boat ride to see half–submerged ruins of the city of Simena across the bay. View the modest fishermen cottages and the outstanding Lycian sarcophagi. Spend the night in Fethiye.

DAY 8
Fethiye – Telmessos – Bodrum
Travel from Fethiye to Telmessos, known for its rock tombs that were carved into the faces of the cliffs by the Lycians. The most prominent of them all is Tomb of Amyntas dating back to 400 BC. Next, visit the ruins of a Byzantine castle. Proceed to Bodrum to visit the 14th–century Bodrum Castle, built by the knights of St Jean. Visit Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology to see a life–size reproduction of a Byzantine shipwreck from the 7th century. You will also see the site of one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, Mausoleum of Mausolus.

DAY 9
Bodrum – Didyma – Izmir
Head for Didyma, a small village close to the sea acclaimed for its golden sandy beaches and Temple of Apollo. Then, proceed to Izmir to view the clock tower at Konak Square, which is a symbol for the city.

DAY 10
Izmir – Ayvalik – Assos – Canakkale
Depart for Ayvalik, a charming port situated amidst beautiful pine woods and renowned for its narrow streets and typical Greek houses. Proceed to Taksiyarhis Church, a famous church in Ayvalik. Located off the coast of the Aegean lies the ancient settlement of Assos, which dates back to the reign of Hittite King Tudhaliya IV in 800 BC. Its Doric settlements, including the Temple of Athena built in 600 BC, city walls and ancient port are some of the main attractions. Proceed to Canakkale for your overnight stay.

DAY 11
Canakkale – Troy – Istanbul
This morning, visit Ruins of Troy. Here, you will be greeted by the huge replica of a wooden Trojan horse, a vivid reminder of the ancient Trojan War. Troy was a city that dated from 3000 BC to the birth of Christ and was the site of 9 layers of settlement, with each built upon the preceding one. The city was made famous by Homer’s epic poem Iliad and Odyssey. Thereafter, return to Istanbul and shop at the 500–year–old Grand Bazaar, a maze of over 4,000 stalls and shops selling leather goods, jewellery, handicrafts, ceramics, Turkish coffee and other local products. Tonight, complete your evening with a belly and folk dance performance.

DAY 12
Istanbul – Singapore
This morning, you may take an optional tour to Camlica Hill at your own expense. If time permits, you can do some last–minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
