DAY 1
Singapore – Johannesburg
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
Note
If you are flying by Singapore Airlines, you will assemble on the night of day 1, the flight departs after midnight.
DAY 2
Johannesburg – Windhoek
Upon arrival, connect on another flight to Windhoek, capital of Namibia. Many of Namibia’s main tourist attractions hark back to a time of German colonial occupation. Embark on a city tour that includes the stunning Christ Church that was built with local sandstone, completed in 1910. Next, visit the famous Tintenpalast or widely known as the Ink Palace, the original government building built by the Germans in 1914. Continue to see The Alte Fest one of the oldest surviving buildings in Windhoek, built to provide protection to the settlers and accommodation for the Schutztruppe. Today, it is a Museum and the Independence Collection is housed here. Admire Windheok’s 3 elegant castles – Schwerinsburg, Heintzburg and Sanderburg castles. Heinitzburg is now a luxury hotel which offers one of the best views of central Windhoek. Tonight, enjoy a dinner at Hotel Heintzburg.

DAY 3
Windhoek – Swakopmund
After breakfast, travel to Swakopmund, Namibia’s top coastal resort and premier holiday destination. Originally the main harbor for German South-West Africa, this beach resort has retained a lot of its German influence amidst the palm-lined streets, seaside promenades and beaches. From the colonial architecture to the sense of relaxed nostalgia and timelessness, German influence is very much present in here. En-route Mondesa Township and enjoy a brief history of the area. Stroll down the street and get a glimpse into a typical Namibian homes and schools. Stop off at a small home craft market with different artists’ crafts on offer. Visit a traditional Nama herbalist who shares her knowledge of the Nama culture and herbal medicines. Enjoy drinks at a shebeen and African delicacies at a local restaurant including trying out mopane worms or locally known as Omagungu.

DAY 4
Swakopmund
After breakfast, venture outside of Swakopmund city’s limits into the coastal dune belt that lies just beyond its borders on this incredible living desert tour. Your expert guide will point out wildlife and natural highlights of these scenic landscapes as your travel past towering sand dunes that are home to the little five of the Namib Desert – Namaqua Chameleon, Sidewinder Snake, Shovel-Snouted Lizard, Cartwheeling Spider and Palmato Gecko. In the afternoon, get off the beaten track in a 4WD to the strange but beautiful Moon Landscape, one of the most fascinating areas of the Namib Desert. This site also plays host to many films crews due to its moonlike appearance. Next, head towards the Welwitschia plains to see the “Living Fossils”.

DAY 5
Swakopmund
Today, enjoy a full day at leisure. If you had heard of Soussusvlei iconic landscapes, you may want to book an optional scenic flight over the Namib Desert at your own expense.

DAY 6
Swakopmund – Walvis Bay – Windhoek
Start your day early with a Harbour cruise from Walvis Bay. Cruise the harbour as you explore the rich sea life and tales and legends of the Namibian Coast. Get up close to the feathered inhabitants of Bird Island and watch the inquisitive seals swim up close to the boat for food; so close they sometimes hop on board the boat! Head to Pelican Point next, home to a large colony of Cape Fur seals and see if you can spot bottlenose dolphins swimming alongside the boat on the way. Oyster and sparkling wine are included in the cruise. Return to Windhoek.

DAY 7
Windhoek – Wildlife Sanctuary – Windhoek
After breakfast, enjoy an exciting carnivore feeding tour. During the course of this drive you will visit lions and cheetahs or African wild dogs and leopards. Watch them being fed by our experienced guides and listen to their stories. The scenic route that takes you to our magnificent carnivores lends the opportunity of spotting some of the free-roaming reserve animals.

DAY 8
Windhoek – Johannesburg – Cape Town
Early morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour and drive past Castle of Good Hope, the restored fort of Cape Town, City Hall, Houses of Parliament and historic Malay quarter. Take a cable car ride to ascend the famous Table Mountain, if weather permits. Thereafter, proceed to Signal Hill to enjoy the views of Cape Town.

Cable car ride is subject to weather conditions and will be replaced with a dinner in Cape Town on day 8 if cancelled.

Cape Town
Today, enjoy a full day is free at leisure.
