SINGAPORE – ROME
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and set off for Rome, the capital of Italy.

DAY 2
ROME – VATICAN CITY – ROME
Begin your morning by visiting the legendary Vatican City, the world’s smallest country. Over here, you will witness St Peter’s Basilica, one of the most famous and biggest churches in the world. Next, make a wish at Trevi Fountain before visiting Spanish Steps, the widest staircase in Europe. Movie buffs take heed, for you might find this attraction familiar as it was made rather famous by the film “Roman Holiday”, starring Audrey Hepburn. Thereafter, shop along Via Condotti, one of Rome’s most elegant shopping streets and an epicentre for your haute couture fix.

DAY 3
ROME
Spend the day at leisure. You may opt to take an optional excursion to Pompeii and Naples or simply enjoy more shopping. As the night falls, why not sip a glass of prosecco at a sidewalk cafe in the heart of Piazza Navona and enjoy life’s pageantry passing by?

ROME – FLORENCE
This morning, depart Rome for Florence, via Italo, a premium high-speed train. Dubbed the Ferrari of trains, the cars are painted a rich Burgundy red. Upon arrival, spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring Florence, ranked by Forbes as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

FLORENCE
Spend the day at leisure exploring this glorious city. You may choose to traverse the medieval streets to Ponte Vecchio, haggle for leather goods at Santa Croce or relax at the terraces of Boboli Gardens. Alternatively, enjoy an optional excursion through the Tuscan countryside to the delightful towns of Siena and San Gimignano at your own expense. Tonight, why not make the most of your time in the Tuscan capital and savour the scrumptious Florentine steak at your own expense?

DAY 6
FLORENCE – VENICE
Journey along the Italian Alps to Venice and take a motor launch to splendidly divine St Mark’s Square. See famed monuments such as St Mark’s Basilica, which features the carved likenesses of the Roman Empire’s 4 rulers, Doge’s Palace, one of the main landmarks of the city, and Bridge of Sighs, so named because it was the last glimpse of freedom that convicts had before they were imprisoned, and St Mark’s Campanile, a replica of the original watchtower that collapsed in 1902. Visit a Venetian glass factory and be fascinated by a master glassblower’s demonstration. If time and weather is in your favour, do not miss an unforgettable gondola ride at your own expense.

DAY 7
VENICE – MILAN
This morning, make your way to magnetic Milan, where the likes of revered designer houses like Giorgio Armani, Gucci and Fendi showcase their fashion collections. Following which, visit the Duomo and the glass-and-steel Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the 1st building in Italy to be lit by electricity. In the afternoon, explore the city at your own leisure and spend time people-watching as Milanese men and women alike seemingly dress like they were born for the magazines. A total sight for sore eyes.

DAY 8
MILAN – LUCERNE
After breakfast, enjoy the scenic views of mountains and the serene countryside as you journey to the picturesque township of Lucerne, Switzerland. Embark on a walking tour to the famous Chapel Bridge and the stirring Lion Monument, carved from a limestone cliff in memory to the Swiss guards that died defending the French King. Thereafter, you may opt to while the day away with a cuppa, or well, there is always shopping. Luxury brands, watches, music boxes, famous Swiss chocolates and more, there’s (almost) something for everyone.

LUCERNE
Spend the day at leisure. You may also choose to take an optional excursion to the top of Mt Titlis at your own expense.
