Next, visit Shirvanshahs Palace, built in the 15th century and one of the pearls of Azerbaijan architecture. Thereafter, explore the beauty of the Old Town and view historic structures such as Synyg Gala Minaret, Maiden Tower and the 10-metre-tall medieval fortress walls.

BAKU - GOBUSTAN - BAKU

After breakfast, depart to Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, where you can see more than 6,000 rock drawings left by early human settlement almost 40,000 years ago. Next, return to Baku and visit Bibi Heybat Mosque. Continue to Atesgah, a castle-like religious temple used by Azeris for close to 5 centuries as a sacred shrine for fire worshipping. Thereafter, proceed to Yanar Dag, the mysterious hillside with a continuously burning natural fire that stretches 10 metres alongside the edge of the hill. If the wind condition is right, you may even catch flames twisting into bizarre shapes, adding to the beauty of this unique site. In the evening, enjoy a unique dinner with traditional Azeri performance.

Today, cross the Azerbaijan border to Georgia and head to Sighnaghi in the eastern region of Kakheti. After breakfast, start your Tbilisi sightseeing with a visit to Metekhi Church and view the statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali. Next, visit Abanotubani, an ancient district known for its sulphuric baths. Continue to Narikala Fortress, an ancient fortress overlooking the old city of Tbilisi. Next, take a stroll along Sharden Street, the modern street in Tbilisi with coffee shops and visit Bridge of Peace, one of the most famous tourist spots in the city. End of the day with a visit to Holly Trinity Cathedral, the main cathedral of Georgia.

TBILISI - MTSKHETA - ALAVERDI - DILIJAN

After breakfast, stop at Mtskheta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the ancient capital of Georgia. Visit Jvari Monastery, a 6th-century Georgian Orthodox monastery perched high above hill. Next, head to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. According to legend, Christ’s robe is believed to lie beneath the central nave of this cathedral. Continue towards Armenia and upon arrival, visit Sanahin Monastery and Hagphat Monastery, 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites filled out outstanding medieval Armenian works. Stay overnight in Dilijan, also know as Little Switzerland due to its verdant alpine meadows.

After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Dilijan before proceeding to Lake Sevan, one of the world’s highest fresh-water lakes in Eurasia Visit the 9th century Sevanavank, a monastic complex consisting 2 rough-hewn churches built on a peninsula overlooking Lake Sevan. Next, drive to Armenia’s last remaining pre-Christian religious complex, Temple of Garni. Thereafter, visit Monastery of Geghard, a unique cave monastery and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stay overnight in Yerevan, the capital and largest city of Armenia.
