Travel along the beautiful Antrim Coast past scenic glens and rugged beaches today. Your first stop is at Carrickfergus Castle on the northern shore of Belfast Lough. Dating back to 1177, this Norman Castle is one of the best preserved medieval structures in Ireland. Next, see the world-famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge originally built by salmon fishermen. Thrill seekers are welcome to make their way across the bridge if the weather permits. Those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on land will also get to enjoy stunning views on one of the exhilarating walks around the area. Proceed to visit the spectacular Giant’s Causeway, one of the most impressive natural wonders in the United Kingdom and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
