FENGHUANG – ZHANGJIAJIE

After breakfast, coach to Zhangjiajie. Visit Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. With numerous mystical legends, it is regarded as the holy mountain by the locals and also known as the “First Holy Mountain of Xiangxi” and the “Soul of Wuling”. Mt Tianmen is in the midst of constructing a spectacularly grand “No 1 Wonder Road”. The current one-way circulation cableway is the world longest alpine passenger cableway with a total length of 7,454 meters and height of 1,277 meters. The Tianmen Cave is the world highest attitude natural mountain cave at 131 meters in height, 57 meters in width and 60 meters in depth. In 1999, it attracted the world’s attention when a stunt performance was staged, allowing planes to fly through the cave. The cave also symbolized happiness and is known as the “Heaven’s Gate” as well as the “Sacred Land”. Note: Visit to Mt Tianmen scenic area is subjected to weather conditions. ZHANGJIAJIE

After breakfast, continue to visit the Yuanjiajie by Bailong Lift, the only elevator that carries 3 world records: the world’s fastest passenger elevator, the world’s highest outdoor sightseeing elevator and the world’s maximum load elevator. Visit the Mihun Platform, the First Bridge, the Yubi Peak, the Fairy scene, the West Stone Forest and the Helong Park etc. Yuanjiajie is the site in Wulingyuan Scenic Area where there are great rock pillars and deep valleys. The must-see attraction is the majestic natural rock bridge, known as the First Bridge under the Sun, which links two mountain peaks. The bridge is 2 meters wide, 5 meters thick and spans 50 meters in the relative height of about 400 meters. There is a back garden, known as the “Natural Bonsai” that resembles the royal garden with varieties of pinnacles. Proceed to Mt Tianzi Scenic Area where you will see wonderful and amazing sights such as stone forest, sea of clouds, pink clouds and winter snow etc. We will descend by cable car and continue the sight-seeing tour by taking the two-way train ride through the picturesque Ten Miles Gallery. Note: If cable car is closed due to safety reason during winter, 2-way Bailong lift will be arranged. There will be some attractions may not be visited. Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
