DAY 1
SINGAPORE – CHENGDU
Stay at local 5* Chengdu Yinsheng Hotel or comparable
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to the capital of Sichuan province, Chengdu. Upon arrival, proceed to the hotel.
Note:If you are taking the flight that arrives in the afternoon, dinner will be provided.
DAY 2
CHENGDU—RILONG—MT SIGUNIANG—RILONG
Stay at local 4* Siguniang Moutain Hotel or comparable
After breakfast, proceed to Maobiliang observation deck to enjoy Mt Siguniang (The Four Girls Mountain) view. After lunch, visit Mt Siguniang Shuangqiao Valley (Include tram ride). Shuangqiao Valley is the most beautiful of the three valleys but the only shortcoming is that you can't see Mt Siguniang.

DAY 3
RILONG—MT SIGUNIANG—DANBA
Stay at local 4* 318 hotel
After breakfast, drive to Changping Valley including tram rider and horse-riding. If weather permit, you may see he Mt Siguangniang in the valley. After lunch, coach to Danba, a retreat from the world, are known as the most beautiful villages all over China. Visit Jiaju Tibetan Village, lying in the north of Danba, with more than 140 families residing here.

DAY 4
DANBA—TAGONG—XINDUQIAO
Stay at local 4* Sheying Tiantang Hotel
After breakfast, visit Suopo Watchtowers. In Danba, where there was a village, there were watchtowers. That’s why Danba was renowned as the “ancient country of thousands of watchtowers”. Although many of them has lost their traces or integrated with the folk houses, some of them have been preserved. Suopo Town till today is desely scattered with watchtowers. After lunch, coach to Tagong Grassland, enroute explore Bamei Stone Foerest. Continue to Xinduqiao. Acclaimed as the “paradise for photographers”, vignettes of bridges, flowing streams, watercourses, populus cathayana, villages of the nomadic Tibetan tribes and herds of cows and sheep grazing on the green grassland conjure a beautiful picturesque scene that seems out from a scroll of painting. If the weather is good, you can behold the main peak of Mount Gonggar in the distant which is 7,556 metres above sea level.

DAY 5
XINDUQIAO—LITANG—DAOCHENG—RIWA

After breakfast, traverse over Gao’er Temple Mountain tunnel to Muya Tibetan Village. During the journey, pass by the unique yellow Tibetan houses against the scenic backdrop of spectacular mountains, lush grassland, farm lands and rustic villages. Drive past the gushing and roaring Yalong River, Ya River before arriving at the lush Heng Duan mountainous area. Learn more about the marriage customs in famous Yalong River Grand Canyon. After lunch, traverse across Mount Jianzi (4659 metres), Mount Kazila (4718 metres) and explore the Maoya Grassland in Litang, known as the tallest city in the world (4014 metres). Next, traverse across Mount Tu’er (4559 metres), Mount Haizi (4675 metres) before arriving at Daocheng. Upon arrival in Riwa, the home town of Shangri-la, check into the hotel.

DAY 6
RIWA – YADING SCENIC AREA – RIWA

After breakfast, board the sight-seeing electric vehicle and be enthralled by scenes of acres of green forest and piles of red maple leaves on the grassland as you proceed to Yading Nature Reserve. View the more than thousand-year-old Mani piles, the dam at the end of the mountain cliffs. Board the electric car in the scenic area and travel through the pristine forest and attractions like Holy Water Gate and 500 Luohan Temple to Luorong Cattle Farm. Experience the harmony between nature and man as you immerse in the surrounding scenery of wild animals, floral and fauna, high mountains, snowy peaks, thick forest, glaciers, blue-water lakes and flowing river streams. Let your heart feel the stillness of the sacred mountains and the tranquility of the flowing sacred water as you indulge in the dream-like surrounding. If your physical condition allows, you may wish to choose to ride on a horse as it takes you to Milk Sea and Five Colours Sea.
Note: As there are no dining facilities in Yading Scenic Area, simple buffet lunch will be provided at Luorong Cattle Farm service station.

DAY 7
RIWA – YADING SCENIC AREA – RIWA—DAOCHENG

After breakfast, coach to Yading Nature Reserve again. heading to view the ancient Chonggu Temple at the Valley of the Blue Moon and Zhuo Ma La Cuo also known as Pearl Lake. The scenic area boasts of spectacular scenery with the snow peaks of three sacred mountains forming the focal point in the nature reserve. The altitude of the northern peak, Mount Xiannairi also known as “Goddess of Mercy” is 6032 metres above sea level while the southern peak, Mount Yangmaiyong also known as “Manjusri” and eastern peak, Mount Xianuoduoji are both 5958 metres above sea level. The precipitous, snowy white peaks of the three mountains look like sharp swords that pierce through the clouds. Snowy mountains, steep cliffs, haizi, glacier, grassland, forests and water streams in the nature reserve composed a picture of calm. The tranquil and pristine scenic area has been hailed as “the last pristine area on our blue earth”.

DAOCHENG—XINDUQIAO—KANGDING

KANGDING—LUDING—CHENGDU
Stay at 5* Shangri-la hotel or comparable
After breakfast, coach to Luding. Proceed to view Luding Bridge, an ancient Chinese suspension bridge masterpiece comprising wooden boards secured by heavy iron chains built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing dynasty. Travel along Cheng-Ya Highway and pass through Bazi flatlands in western Sichuan to arrive in Ya’an, also known as a “rainy town”. After understanding the significances of the three things that Ya’an is famous for – Ya Nu (elegant lady), Ya Yu (graceful rain) and Ya Yu (graceful fish), explore Qingyi River Canyon. Coach back to Chengdu, enjoy your own leisure at Taiguli, Chunxilu shopping area.

DAY 10
CHENGDU—SINGAPORE
After breakfast, enjoy your own leisure if time permits. Take flight back to Singapore.

Notes
1. The itinerary includes travel over highlands which have vast changes in temperature in the day and night. Please bring along adequate warm clothings to protect yourself from cold. It is also important to keep your body dry. As the weather in the Tibetan region is dry with strong sun rays and ultra violet rays, please wear sun hats, sun glasses and sunscreen as well as bring nasal creams and soothing throat drops to protect yourself from any discomfort to your nasal and throat.
2. As we drop by the Tibetan tribes and their dwellings, we seek your understanding to respect their local religious beliefs and culture, and do not use our city standards to judge the local conditions. During one of the tour activities to add stones to the pile of Marnyi stones, please note that it is disrespectful to remove, rummage through or step on the Marnyi stones.
3. You are advised to bring along chocolates, your favourite food or snacks which are preferably high energy food in case you are unaccustomed to the local food or stuck in traffic during the journey.
4. Mobile phones can be used in the cities in the itinerary but as mobile signals are subject to weather conditions, the reception may be poor at times. Currently mobile lines from China Mobile (International, China), China Connect (includes CDMA) can be used normally.
5. When travelling on the routes in this itinerary, there may be road accidents, vehicles breakdown or bad road conditions. Our Agency reserves the right to make changes or cancel the itinerary or change the attractions without prior notice.
