DAY 1 ARRIVAL – SIEM REAP

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, transfer to hotel. Free at own leisure.

Day 2 SIEM REAP

Morning visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom (Bayon temple, Phimeanakas temple, Elephant & Leper King terrace, Suor Prat towers), pass by Chao Say Devoda temple, Thommanon temple, Ta-Keo temple, visit Ta-Prohm Temple (Hollywood Star, Angelina Jolie made the film of TOMB RIDER here, the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples), visit Gem shop, finally we visit The world heritage of Angkor Wat temple (it is a World heritage site, The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors), see the beautiful sunset at Angkor Wat temple. Visit Pub Street & Night market stop over around 30 mins, back to hotel.

Day 3 SIEM REAP

Optional 1 Kompong Phluk Floating Village Half-Day Tour
Experience Cambodia’s beautiful small villages and rice paddies. Make a quick stop at Artisans D'Angkor for some souvenirs like silk accessories and stone carvings. Enjoy a serene boat ride through the calm waters of Tonle Sap Lake, where you will see big mangrove trees. Go into the main area of Kompong Phluk and explore this one-of-a-kind floating village with the help of your local tour guide. Learn how rural fishing villages work and discover how they've built the village to adapt to the changing seasons.
Morning tour: 8am-130pm
Afternoon tour: 130pm – 630pm
Note: Tour is not suitable for Children aged 0-9.

Optional 2 Cooking Class Tour
Classes held in Sojourn Boutique Villas Herb Garden will start with a visit to a local family. You'll take a stroll through the village, learn about home-grown herbs and vegetables and discover more about cooking in a Khmer household. A gift of rice is provided to the family as thanks for their participation. Together with your local chef and guide, you'll get a hands-on cooking experience with tips and recipe cards. Taste all your creations once it is ready!

Morning session (9am–1230pm): Mango Salad, Fish Amok, Sticky Rice Balls with Palm Sugar
Afternoon session (12pm-4pm): Prohet Chien (Minced Fish on Sugar Cane), Traditional Cambodian Curry, Nom Tong Noun (Khmer Brandy Snaps)

Optional 3 Khmer Ceramics Pottery Class Additional $10 per person
Create your own masterpieces with true Khmer spirit at a ceramic pottery class held right in the heart of the city! A detailed illustrations will take you through the process of ceramic making, from shaping it on the pottery wheel all the way until firing and glazing the finished product. Put on your apron, choose a wheel, and get ready to get your hands dirty! Instructors will guide you as you mould your very own Angkorian bowl. Once you're satisfied with your shape, you can start carving Khmer designs to your creations to make them even more unique. Put on the finishing touches and choose a piece, the professionals will help you firing and glazing your pottery.
Classes are available daily at 8:00am, 10:00am, 2:00pm and 4:00pm

Note: You may self-collect your pottery the next day after 1600hrs, alternatively you can choose to ship back to your home address with an extra charge. Hotel Pick-up and Drop-off by Tuk tuk available; please waiting at hotel lobby at least 20 mins before your class scheduled.
Optional 4 Sunset Quad Bike Adventure Additional $15 per person

Aboard on a quad bike and start your adventure! Explore the remote and undisturbed countryside of Siem Reap. Follow the guide through the lush greeneries of the surrounding areas and iconic rice paddies as you pass by local villages and schools. Throughout the tour, you'll also be passing by Buddhist monastaries and century-old Angkorian temples that have been long abandoned by civilization.

Note: Safety helmet & Safety Instruction will be provided. Children aged between 0-5 cannot join this activity. Aged 6-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum 2 people per quad bike. Total riding time is 1 hour.

Step into a villager's shoes and help out with daily tasks: plant or harvest rice, weave thatch for roofs, create wall panels, plant vegetables or trees, make 'prahoc' or rice wine. Every tour is different and tasks depend on the time of year, family needs and village goings-on.

Meet your hosts at Kompheim Village with your English speaking guide
Help out with daily tasks
Picnic lunch of sandwiches (provided by operator to ensure high food safety standards. A Khmer meal will be provided for the host family)
3:00pm/4:00pm return hotel drop off

Note: This is a real village, not one set up for tourists to visit, so you must be flexible as the tour will be adapted around ceremonies or village events.
It is extremely important that you don't hand out gifts, sweets or money to these families or children. This can cause problems and jealousy within the village and among families and relatives. Should you wish to help beyond the tour, please discuss with your tour guide.
