| DAY 1 |
ARRIVAL – PHNOM PENH
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh, transfer to restaurant for your lunch. Visit the Royal Palace (in proper attire) and Silver Pagoda. The Royal Palace is the official residence of King Norodom Sihamony, several buildings within the gleaming yellow walls of the compound can be visited. Thereafter, visit Chaktomuk River square and Naga Casino. Have dinner in the restaurant before heading back to hotel.

PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, visit the Wat Phnom Hill, a Buddhist temple atop on the only hill in town. The first pagoda was built in 1373 and stands 27m above the ground. Take some photos at Daun Penh Statue, a statue of the legendary founder of Phnom Penh City. Next, proceed to Independence Monument to view its lotus–shaped stupa form which is a combination of Khmer and modern architectural style and Victory Monument that was constructed to commemorate the independence from France. Next, we will also be visiting the Sihanouk King Statue. After lunch, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum, known as the Museum of Genocidal Crimes. In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot’s security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). It was used by the Khmer Rouge as a detention and torture center in the late 1970. Today the building houses exhibits, paintings and photographs of many of the victims. Visitors can see the crude cells built in the classrooms and the torture devices used to extract confessions. Thereafter, visit Cambodia famous Gem shop, Factory Outlet store and Central Market where you will be able to find local souvenirs, clothes, titbits etc. Tonight, enjoy Classic Khmer cuisine dinner at a romantic riverside restaurant while you enjoy Cambodia’s classic performance.

PHNOM PENH
This morning, transfer to visit the Killing Field of Choeung Ek - a soccer-field-sized area surrounded by farmland, the killing fields contain mass graves, slightly sunken, for perhaps 20,000 Cambodians, many of whom were tortured before being killed. A memorial building stands in the center of the killing fields. Many of the skulls inside were pulled from the mass graves. Next, head to Russian Market, which is also known as Phasar Toul Tom Poung by the locals that offers a glimpse of local Cambodians’ livelihoods, comprehensive variety of value-for-money souvenirs and endless photographic opportunities. Continue your shopping spree in Aeon Mall Phnom Penh. Thereafter, cruise along the Mekong river as you enjoy spectacular view of the sunset over Mekong River.

PHNOM PENH - DEPARTURE
After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight home.
