Upon arrival Wakkanai Airport, ,we stall commence with day 2 itinerary.

CAPE SOYA - LAKE ONUMA - CAPE NOSHAPPU (B/L/D)

Upon arrival at Wakkanai, our first stop is Cape Soya. This is the northmost point of Japan and from here on a clear sky, you can look across to Russia. Enjoy the breath-taking view of this scenery. Next we proceed to Lake Onuma known for its picturesque, beautiful lake and majestic Mt. Komagatake. After that, we travel to Cape Noshappu, a wonderful photo spot with Mt. Rishiri and Rebun island with a dolphin monument at the background setting. Sometimes, wild spotted seals can be seen close by. After dinner, we head back to the hotel for a very good rest. WAKKANAI - HAMATOMBETSU - NAYORO PARK - MONBETSU (B/L/D)

This morning we drive along the coast line of Cape Soya and stop by at Sarufutsu Park. Here you can buy the tastiest scallop of Northern Hokkaido and during the flora season, pink moss spread across the wide field. After that, we proceed to Nayoro Town, along the way we make a stop at Lake Kutcharo and if timing is good, we can catch the mganificent sight of the migrating birds. Noyoro is a town famous for its glutinous rice. During the summer, millions of sunflowers bloom in the park around the town. The next stop is Okhotsk Sea Ice Museum where you can experience sub-zero effect on wet towels and soap in an extreme -20 degree room. Accommodation: Hotel in Monbetsu

MONBETSU - KITAMI - ABASHIRI (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we head for Okhotsk Tokkari Centre. You will be amused to see the amazing seals perform during the feeding time and remember to take a memorable photo with these amazing seals. Our next destination is a visit to Okshotsk Beer Factory in Kitami. Here you can taste various popular beer with good food (own expense). After that, we take a stroll at Kitami Flower Paradise . In flora season, 300 different kinds of flowers can be seen here. After that we visit a fruit farm and depending on season; you can find prunes apples, pears, plums or even fresh asparagus. Accommodation: Hotel in Abashiri

ABASHIRI - SHIRETOKO - SHIBETSU - AKAN (B/L/D)

Our first visit this morning is the Mount Tento Observatory. Enjoy the panoramic view of Abashiri and experience drif ice exhibition in a -18 degree room. After that, enjoy the magnificent view of Sea of Okhotsk coastline as we drive towards Shiretoko. Our first stop is Oshinkoshin Falls, one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls with a vertical drop of 60 meters. Next, we visit Whale View Park; and on many occasion, we can view whales in a distance. After that, we proceed to Shibetsu Salmon Park (Aquarium). This place has the largest salmon species collection. Thereafter, we visit Ainu Village in Akan to get an insight of Ainu lifestyle together with their song and dance. Accommodation: Hotel in Lake Akan

AKAN - KUSHIRO (B/L/D)

This morning we embark on a Boat cruise in Lake Akan. Look out for cute “Marimo” a species of filamentous green algae found in the lake. You are welcome to purchase one to bring home home from one of the souvenir shops. After that, we proceed to Akan International Crane Centre to view the magnificent endanger birds and conservation effort to save them. Next stop is the Fisherman’s Wharf MOO near Nusamai bridge which houses markets, souvenir shops and restaurants. Accommodation: Hotel in Kushiro

KUSHIRO - SINGAPORE (B)

This morning is free at leisure and last minute shopping until your transfer to Kushiro Airport for your flight back to Singapore via Haneda Airport with sweet memories of ANA First Choice Holiday
