Arrive in Sri Lanka, met by local representatives. Later transfer to Colombo.

DAMBULLA - (Optional: SIGIRAYA ROCK FORTRESS) (B/L/D)

Proceed to Dambulla. Lunch at a Restaurant

Visit *Dambulla Cave Temple (Golden Temple) first came to use as a refuge for King Valagambahu in 1st century BC.

Optional: *Sigiriya Rock Fortress - Is home to the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress.

Transfer to Hotel
Dinner & Overnight stay at a Hotel.

KANDY (B/L/D)

Breakfast at Hotel.

Proceed to Kandy, En-route visit *Spice Garden in Matale to see the different spices, which Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed.

Continue to Kandy, Lunch at a Restaurant.

Tour of *Kandy including visit to Visit *Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession. Cultural Show featuring various dance groups.

Transfer to Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at a Hotel.

COLOMBO (B/L/D)

Breakfast at Hotel.
Proceed to Colombo, En-route visit *Giragama Tea Factory and Plantation, Sri Lanka is one of the world's largest exporters of tea, hence when venturing into the cool climes of the island one will be surrounded by acres of tea.

Continue to Colombo. Lunch at a Restaurant.

*Colombo a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens, Visit Fort, the former British administrative centre and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah. Shopping at *House of Fashion & *ODEL.

Dinner at a Restaurant. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at a Hotel.

DEPARTURE (B)

Transfer to Airport.
