Take a hands-on 3-hour tour of hip and trendy Korean TV studios at CJ E&M. Navigate one of South Korea’s coolest TV studios, taking in live TV shows, listening to the latest pop hits at a live broadcast of ‘MCountdown’ or watching a taping of ‘Comedy Big League,’ the country’s popular gag-comedy show. And who knows, you might even see your favorite K-pop star.

K-pop and Korean pop culture in general have become an international phenomenon thanks to breakout performers like Psy. Get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Korea’s coolest TV-and-entertainment studios, CJ E&M. The 3-hour (approx.) tour includes free time in the CJ E&M building, where you can also enjoy exploring cafés and restaurants and viewings of two different shows, and look at what really goes on at this Seoul-based studio.

In addition to the tour of the CJ E&M Center, you will either tour studios or sit in on a live taping of a show, depending on what day you choose to visit. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, get a tour of the Digital Media City (DMC) promotion center or the studios where shows like Wide Entertainment News, a music-and-entertainment-focused show aimed at people in their 20s, are filmed. On Tuesday, have a laugh or two watching a live taping of Comedy Big League, the countryÂ’s leading gag-comedy show (this option lasts about 5 hours). On Thursday, you can sit in on a taping of MCountdown, a show highlighting the latest in trendy K-pop music.

No matter what day you visit, youÂ’ll get an up close look at what goes into creating a cultural force that is sweeping the world.
