NEGOMBO / PINNAWELA / DAMBULLA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

* Visit : Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage
An orphanage started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The no of elephants have increased to more than 65 now including baby elephants brought from various parts.
* Dambulla
* Visit : Rock Temple
The famous Rock Temple dating to the first century BC is found here. The caves of Dambulla sheltered King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura. When he regained the throne, he built the most magnificent Rock Temples on the island. In the first cave is a recumbent image of the Buddha 47ft long cut out of the rock. There are images of deities associated with Buddhism all around. The frescoes on the walls and the ceiling are the oldest here and over painted in the Kandy period.
DAY 3
DAMBULLA / MINNERIYA / DAMBULLA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
* Morning is free at leisure, you may wish to take an optional tour to Polonnaruwa - another World Heritage Site and also the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th - 13th centuries. It contains some splendid and spectacular statues.
* Minneriaya National Park
* Fun : Jeep Safari
The Minneriaya National Park is 8889 hectares in extent and famous for its large population of elephants in herds of 100 to 150 roaming in the jungle and seen in the catchment area of the lake.
DAY 4
DAMBULLA / MATALE / KANDY (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

You may wish to join an optional tour to visit Sirigiya Rock Fortress. This is home to the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. Within its triple moated defence, the huge rock rises almost to a sheer height of 500ft.

See the different spices in the Spice Garden which Sri Lanka is famous for.
* Kandy
* Visit : City Tour
Kandy is the hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera. Temples, shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere. Your city tour includes Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre, Gem Museum and lastly Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
* Visit : Temple of Tooth Relic
Located in Kandy, long a centre of the Buddhist faith, the stunning 17th-century Temple of the Tooth is believed to house the left upper canine tooth of the Lord Buddha himself. This precious relic attracts white-clad pilgrims, bearing lotus blossoms and frangipani, every day.

The show features various dance groups of Sri Lanka.
DAY 5
KANDY / PERADENIYA / NUWARA ELIYA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
* Visit : Royal Botanical Gardens
More than 5,000 species of trees, plants and creepers are found here. Some rare and endemic as well as flora from the tropical world are found in the gardens. Spice Garden and Orchid House are popular with tourist.
* Nuwara Eliya
* Visit : Tea Factory and Tea Plantation
Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya when a few plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839. Nuwara Eliya - the “Little England” of Sri Lanka, set against beautiful backdrops of mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coolest places on the Island but it is really just like an English spring day although temperature does drop at night.
DAY 6
NUWARA ELIYA / COLOMBO / SINGAPORE (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

* Visit : City Tour
Drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens.
Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendal dating back to 1749 stands. See the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square.

Odel Unlimited provides ample opportunity to indulge, not only in shopping for designer wear apparel for the whole family but also take taste buds on a voyage of discovery.
