NOBORIBETSU/LAKE TOYA – HAKODATE

Good morning, your first stop will be Noboribetsu Marine Park NIXE. Highlights of this marine park include penguin parade, dolphin show and a four storey Danish castle that features dynamic marine life. Next, enjoy a photo stop at picturesque Lake Toya, scenic lake which lies 200 - 500m below the outer rim of the crater. This afternoon, take the cable up to Mt Hakodate Night View where the view from Mt. Hakodate is described as "worth taking time out to see" and the world’s three best night view. Have a good night rest in an onsen resort.

HAKODATE – JOZANKEI

This morning, visit Hakodate Morning Market. Enjoy a spot of shopping at the market and be sure to check out crabs (kani), salmon eggs (ikura) and sea urchin (uni). Next, proceed to Goryokaku Tower where you can view the beautiful star-shaped of fort goryokaku from the observation deck. Stop by Mt Yotei Spring Water, one of 100 remarkable waters in Japan. The melted snow from Mount Yotei forms an underground stream and spurts out the ground here, feel free to take water from spring water. Tonight, wind down and indulge in a relaxing hot spring bath at an onsen resort in Jozankei, in the company of memories of a day well spent.

The building is designated as a historical architecture by Otaru city which was built in 1905, Meiji era. Learn about the sake brewing process and have an opportunity to taste the sake. Next, go all out and embark on a shopping spree at Mitsui Outlet Mall Park Kitahiroshima, a newly minted outlet mall that boasts a plethora of domestic and imported brands under one roof.

Good morning to the epicentre of Hokkaido, Sapporo. Visit Hokkaido Shrine, built in 1869 when the development of Hokkaido first started. People visit here to receive blessing when their children reach a certain age. Then, visit Shiroi Koibito Park, this is where the well-known Hokkaido confectionery is produced. Proceed to Odori Park. Located in the heart of Sapporo, this beautifully manicured green space is a charming assembly of monumental fountains, sculptures and flowerbed. Sometimes, love and fresh air is all you need. Pass by Clock Tower where the clock tower is the symbol of Sapporo! Next, savour an unlimited Hokkaido 3 type crabs - kani crab, horse hair crab, king crab. Yum! The retail therapy continues at the famed Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade, the longest shopping street in Hokkaido. Spend the night in Sapporo city as your survey of fascinating Hokkaido draws to a close.
