Welcome to Kansai! Your visit to the region of Kansai will kick off on a regal note with a photo stop at the majestic Osaka Castle, arguably one of the most, if not the most famous sight in the city. Surrounded by a vast verdant park, this imposing historical relic affords a vast panoramic view of the city. Next, drive to Nara, visit Todaiji Temple, Nara's most popular attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Todaiji Temple, along with Kofukuji and Horyuji, make up the "Big Three" must-see temples of Nara. The temple is the world’s largest wooden building and houses the world’s biggest gilded bronze Buddha. Next, visit Nara Deer Park, the park is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. Nara's nearly 1200 deers have become a symbol of the city; some deer have learned to bow to visitors. The park is a great place to see Japan’s famous autumn colours with ginkgo and maple trees. This afternoon, visit Shinsaibashi Shopping Street, Osaka’s oldest and busiest shopping destination and take your pick from a selection of popular brands, chain stores, and independent boutiques. Thereafter, proceed to your hotel where a good night’s rest is essential, for another day of thrills and spills await.

This morning, proceed onto the ancient capital of Kyoto, city of geishas, Zen gardens and temples, which charms with its understated elegance and refinement. Start the day by visiting UNESCO site of Kinkaku-ji,also known as the temple of golden pavilion where top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. It is perhaps the most widely-recognized image of Kyoto! Next, visit Arashiyama, stroll along the tranquil bamboo groves and visit Togetsukyo Bridge where the bridge looks particularly attractive in combination with the forested mountainside in spring & autumn. Head to Gifu region for a good night rest.

Stroll past sake breweries and merchant houses adorned with latticed bay windows lined in rows, and pick up unique Hida souvenirs and confectionary along the way. Popular items include the Sarubobo good luck charms, literally “a baby monkey”, each bearing auspicious wishes for its lucky recipient. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing beauty bath at an onsen resort in Nagano.

NAGANO – MT FUJI REGION – TOKYO

This morning, take a leisure drive to Mt Fuji Region, visit Mt Kachi Kachi, ride on the ropeway and enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Kawaguchi & Mt Fuji. The mountain is particularly beautiful during shining gold autumn period. Thereafter, drive to Tokyo and visit the venerable Asakusa Kannon Temple, which has more than 1300 years of history. From here, you may catch a glimpse of the iconic Tokyo Skytree. Next, pick up souvenirs at nearby Nakamise shopping street, a walkway leading to the temple that is lined with crafts, souvenirs and other cultural curios. This afternoon, shop at Roppongi Hills, Well-known shopping mall in Tokyo with lots of shops and restaurants.
