Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Chitose via Hong Kong. Upon arrival proceed to Tokachigawa. Indulge in a hot spring bath at an onsen resort in Tokachigawa. Regarded as Japan’s 50 best hot spring, this moor hot spring (golden-brown) contains plant-derived matter, gentle to the skin and has a higher content of natural moisturizing ingredients compared with ordinary hot spring.

TOKACHIGAWA / LAKE SHIRAKIBETSU / SOUNKYO (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

A morning drive will take you to Lake Shirakibetsu and experience Shirakibetsu Kotan (“The Ice Village on Shirakibetsu Lake”) where the lake is frozen in winter and Igloo village is built on the lake. The ice village can only be viewed from mid-January till end of March where ice bar, ice chapel, ice maze are made. You may try other activities such as ice cup and sculpture making class, rental of snow mobiles is at your own expenses. Game? Experience the open-air bath on ice where you can’t find a hot spring bath situated on a frozen lake anywhere else in the world! Make a photo stop at Taushubetsu Bridge where the bridge completely submerged around June and only visible for year ends. Make your way to Sounkyo Gorge, situated at the valley of the imposing Mt Daisetsu-zan. The mountain is accented by rugged, jagged cliffs that are criss-crossed with two famous waterfalls, Shooting Star Falls and Milky Way Falls. In the evening, join in the Sounkyo Ice Water Festival and witness multi story buildings and structures made of ice and snow! Tonight, relax yourself in a hot spring bath and have a good night’s sleep.

SOUNKYO / BIEI / FURANO / ASAHIKAWA (Breakfast / Buffet Lunch / Dinner)

This morning, proceed to Furano and pass by Patchwork Road where various films and TV advertisements were filmed such as Seven Star Tree. Visit ski field in Furano and enjoy a 8 minutes introductory snowmobile ride on fine powder snow. You may try snow tubing, sledding, snow banana at your own expenses. Next, visit Ningle Terrace, take a breezy stroll through the zigzag line of wooden cabin shops nestled in the green forest of Furano. Here you can pick up some exquisite handmade souvenirs or have a sip of coffee in a local café.

ASAHIKAWA / OTARU (Breakfast / Ramen Set Meal / Yakiniku)

After breakfast, visit Asahikawa Zoo, the northernmost zoo in Japan where its popularity lies in the enclosures which allow visitors to observe animals from various angles such as penguin pool and glass domes in the middle of the polar bear enclosure. In winter, you may have the opportunity to witness the penguin parade. Enjoy your traditional ramen in Asahikawa Ramen Village and head to Otaru! Your first stop will be evocative Otaru Canal, where charming century-old stone warehouses line both sides of the canal. The genteel theme continues at Otaru Music Box Museum, where whimsical displays of beautifully crafted music box will delight even the grumpiest of cynics.

OTARU / SAPPORO (Breakfast / Lunch: Unlimited Hokkaido 3 Type Crabs)

This morning, enjoy a leisure drive back to the epicentre of Hokkaido, Sapporo, taking in views of the passing landscape along the way. Visit Hokkaido Shrine, built in 1869 where people visit the shrine to receive blessings when their children reach a certain age. Make a photo stop at Shiroi Koibito Park, fashioned in a distinctively Tudor-styled building that evokes fairy tales impression, this is where well-known Hokkaido confectionery is produced. Highlight of today is Sapporo Snow Festival, Japan’s most popular winter events with hundreds of snow statues and ice sculptures around city area. Be amazed by the art of snow and ice created by the citizens of Sapporo in Odori and witness fantastic ice sculpture in Susukino. This evening, savour an unlimited Hokkaido 3 type crabs - kani crab, horse hair crab, king crab. Yum!
