Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, this poignant Mughal Mausoleum has become the de facto tourist emblem of India. This monument made of pure white marble, was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal has taken over 22 years to build.
Visit : Agra Fort
The Agra Fort with its red sands tone walls dominated the city of Agra. It is where that the Emperor Shah Jahan spent the rest of his life imprisoned, looking out along the river of the final resting place of his wife.

Continue to Orchha - One of the medieval city built during 16th century

Visit : Jehangir Mahal & Rai Praveen Mahal
Built in the early part of the 17th century to mark the visit of the Mughal Emperor, is an important monument of this fort. Rai Praveen Mahal was built for the beautiful paramour of Raja Indramani (1672 to 76), who was a poetess and a musician. Praveen, a beautiful lady of the time with great artistic taste, abilities, was a superb dancer as well as a singer. The tales of Orchha ring with the stories of Jehangir’s romance with her.

Visit : Ruins of Sarnath / Archaeological Museum
About 10km from Varanasi is the town of Sarnath, which is considered the birthplace of Buddhism. It is said Buddha delivered his first sermon at a spot marked with a 33m high, 2300-year-old stupa after finding enlightenment under the Bodhi tree at Bihar. The ruins at Sarnath and the art collection in the Archaeological Museum are representations and examples of the glorious past of Sarnath.

Visit : Ganges River
Witness the evening aarti by the Holy Ganges River. The Ganges is considered the most sacred waterway in India to people of Hindu faith and thousands of pilgrims descend on the holy city of Varanasi each year to cleanse their sins in its purifying waters.

Rise early this morning to take a boat ride on the Ganges River where you will witness the daily life of a Hindu.

Visit : Mother India Temple
Bharat Mata Temple is among the beautiful temples constructed in 1936 by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupt, a Gandhian follower. The temple also has a beautiful structure of undivided India with a three-dimensional view, displaying the exact proportions of lands, oceans and hills. The architecture of the temple is in the shape of pentagonal cone, which is supported by the five pillars. The most peculiar thing about the Temple is that instead of the customary gods and goddesses, it houses a relief map of India, carved out of marble.
