Wedged between the Western Ghats on the East and the Arabian Sea on the West, the narrow strip of land known as Kerala is a destination of a life time.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for a good night’s rest.
DAY 2
KOCHI - ALLEPPEY (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Take a leisurely 2 hours’ drive to Alleppey, the hub of the backwaters of Kerala. Check in into your private houseboat.

The coastal regions of Kerala have a network of waterways, inlets from the sea and estuaries of over 40 rivers, lakes and natural canals connecting coastal towns. This interlinked body of waterways is known as the backwaters in Kerala. Many unique species of aquatic life including crabs, frogs and mudskippers, water birds such as terns, kingfishers, darters and cormorants, and animals such as otters and turtles live in and alongside the backwaters in Kerala. Palm trees, various leafy plants and bushes are a common feature along the Kerala backwaters, colouring the surrounding landscape, a rich green.

Cruise the backwaters for an unforgettable experience that lets you delve into nature’s magical realm.

DAY 3
ALLEPPEY - KOCHI (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Have your breakfast as you continue your cruise before you return to Kochi where your city tour awaits you.

As the "Gateway to Kerala", Kochi is an enchanting city that had an eclectic influence. Arabs, British, Dutch, Chinese and Portuguese have all left their marks on the city. The architecture and historical sites in Fort Kochi attract most of the visitors to the area. Fort Kochi is an excellent place to explore on foot. There you'll find the St Francis Church, said to be the oldest European built church in India. The Paradesi Synagogue is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations, located in Kochi, Kerala, in South India. It was built in 1568 by the Malabar Yehudan people or Cochin Jewish community in the Kingdom of Cochin. Mattancherry Palace Museum was built by the Portuguese in 1557 and presented to Raja Veera Kerala Varma of Kochi, the palace was renovated in 1663 by the Dutch. On display here are beautiful murals depicting scenes from the epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata, and some of the Puranic Hindu legends. The palace also houses Dutch maps of old Kochi, royal palanquins, coronation robes of former maharajas of Kochi as well as period furniture. Head to the waterfront, where the Chinese fishing nets line the shore and at the same time silhouetted against sunset, presenting a magnificent sight of the waterfront.

DAY 4
KOCHI - MUNNAR (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Munnar amidst beautiful landscapes often referred as the Kashmir of South India is more essentially a tea town. Munnar is a commercial centre for tea and it has some of the highest grown tea estates in the world. It also takes the credit of having the world's best tea estates. Munnar is not only a place for relaxation but also a location for adventure. A trip to Munnar gives the travellers a unique experience with its sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities.

First stop of the day is Eco Point. This scenic place gets its name from the natural echo phenomenon. Situated on the way to Top Station from Munnar, it is a stopover for tourists visiting Top Station - the highest point in Munnar. A 13km drive from Munnar on a winding road cutting through lush greenery would take you to the Mattupetty hills. The Mattupetty Lake and Dam surrounded by wooden hills and tea plantations, makes a great view. You may wish to pay for boating on the calm serene Mattupetty Lake. The lake is on the border of a forest and if you are lucky you could sight elephant herds strolling on the grass land. Drive past tea plantations with a stop at the Tea Museum where guides will brief you on tea production, information on machineries, tea processing and tea tasting. Apart from this, you can also see collection of old bits and pieces from the colonial era. End the day at Munnar Town - a typical Indian Town with shops and guest houses.

Note : Tea Museum closed on Mondays / half day guide service on this day for Munnar tour only
